We have manufactured numerous feedwell assemblies for our oil and gas clients. Feedwells are specialized pieces of process equipment necessary to extract bitumen from oil sands. In operation, feedwells are subject to dynamic loads, impact, abrasion, and corrosion. This necessitates fabrication using abrasion-resistant features such as chromium carbide overlay plates and tungsten carbide overlay on inlet nozzles. Northern Steel can manufacture the most complex types of process equipment and is relied on by many of the worlds leading O&G producers.
