The health, safety and well-being of our people, contractors, community, and environment are of paramount importance to us.
As an industry leader in both fabrication and machining, we strive to meet the highest occupational health and safety standards.
In 2003, we were the first steel fabricator in British Columbia to pursue and achieve WorkSafe BC certificate of recognition (COR) certification. This voluntary program, also known as the Partner Program, recognizes employers who create an occupational health and safety management system that exceeds current legal requirements. It recognizes those who proactively improve workplace safety and are dedicated to continual improvement. We are proud to say that we actively maintain our WorkSafe BC Certificate of Recognition (COR) to this day!
Our safety culture is founded on solid communications, mutual trust, and shared perceptions. Our in-house safety advisors work closely with the management team to ensure our risk management and related systems are monitored, measured, and reviewed continuously.
Educating and mentoring our workers is a large part of our continued success. We offer a wide range of internal and external training opportunities to help prevent accidents and injuries in our day-to-day operations. Our safety stats speak directly to our program’s success.
