Like most heavy industries, mining is a tough one. At Northern Steel, we build products that can live up to the demands that you put on them. Likewise, we are adept at refurbishing existing products in need of reworking and /or repair.

The 10' x 34' sliding gate, undergoing construction above is just one of the many products that we have successfully delivered to the industry. This job was completed for the Syncrude's Surge Facility.

Northern Steel has worked on such mining based jobs as: ductwork for coal dryers, train load-out chutes, stainless steel rotary feeders, rock crusher cones, shaker screen beams, apron feeder pads, and conveyor head frames.

Our abilities in the pulp & paper, chemical and mining industries are all very strong.
